Imposter in the Halls of Heaven

Poems

I am shallow
An imperfect flicker
dancing the halls of heaven
A flawed imposter, let through by gods grace
I do not know
yet
If your delicate candle
Lights our path
Or is ignition
To my own
cruel blaze
Neither matter,
I will bask
in this warm light,
for it is a gift,
no matter the length.
